8mm thick segmented shell The snare comes with an Evans Genera Dry head and Puresound Custom Pro 24 strand snare, classic black nickel tube lugs and 8-lug black nickel hoops. The strainer is the beautifully engineered DW Mag throw-off with 3P Butt Plate. This is the deepest incarnation of the segmented Black Series of snares. The shell is made from black Valchromat with 3 bands of specially laminated black and birch plywood, that is also cut across the grain and used in the same segmented fashion.
