13" x 4.5" Bubinga / Maple / Brazilian Cherry snare - SN1854
4.5" deep segmented shell
7mm wall thickness
8 lug chrome tube lugs fittings, chrome snare strainer and triple flanged hoops
24 strand Puresound Custom Prosnare wire
Evans Genera Dry top head, Hazy 300 snare side
The central section of the shell is a single segmented ring of bubinga, with two narrow maple rings either side, with the subtly different brazilian cherry (jutoba) used for the top and bottom of the drum. Lovely mid tones from the shell, with plenty of projection and impact that make this a great snare with the flexibility to produce a wide range of sounds.
