A truly classic, fully segmented, fully original snare shell.
The 14” segmented shell is finished to 8mm thickness to give a balance between the extra punch and volume of a solid wood shell and the clear tonal performance of a thicker wooden shell. The shell matches two dense, well loved classic tone-woods, with the harder and slightly denser reclaimed Iroko used for the core and the upper and lower bearing edges, and two bands of Black Walnut giving a slight contrast in appearance but with similar acoustic properties, producing a drum with good projection and warm mid-tones. |
