The shell is the 4" version of the distinctive harlequin. It is made from 5 rings, each one made from segments of purpleheart, iroko, zebrano, ash, beech, bubinga, wenge and oak. The larger version of this drum received a 5-star review from Rhythm magazine. This particular drum was reviewed and can be heard on Drummer's Review (Jan 2019).
