14" x 6.5" Ash and Black Walnut basket weave pattern snare drum
8mm thick segmented shell 8 lug chrome fittings with S-hoops 8 This snare is fitted with an Evans Genera head and Puresound Custom Pro 20 strand snare, DW Mag throw-off and 3P butt. The shell of this snare is made up of 7 segmented rings of ash with alternating black walnut sections. Each ring comprises 32 separate pieces of timber - the whole shell is made from a staggering 224 segments. The natural wood is finished with a mid sheen french polish to give a durable finish that really shows the beauty of the contrasting timbers. The drum has the rich, full tones you would expect of a drum made with top quality hardwoods and a solid, segmented rigid construction.
