14" x 7" Iroko Stave snare with Padauk stripes

This is a deep, heavy full on solid wooden snare drum. It is made from a beautifully figured piece of hard, dense Iroko with stripes of red Padauk. The shell is machined to a thickness of 15mm and finished with a deep mirror gloss lacquer.

This snare is fitted with an Evans Geneara Dry head and Puresound Custom Pro 24 strand snare and DW Mag throwoff and 3P butt.

The drum is bright and responsive across a range of tuning, with deep, resonant tones from the solid hardwood shell.
