14" x 6.5" Zebrano Stave snare with Padauk stripes
This is a deep, heavy full on solid wooden snare drum. It is made from a distinctive piece of heavily patterned zebrano with stripes of red Padauk. The shell is machined to a half inch thickness and finished with a deep mirror gloss lacquer. Half inch thick stave construction shell. 8 lug classic tube lugs with chrome S-hoops 8 This snare is fitted with an Evans G2 head and Puresound Custom Pro 24 strand snare and DW Mag throwoff and 3P butt. This snare has a wide, full sound. It is responsive and resonant and really comes into its own at higher tunings. Find it in the Exotic Wood Snares section of the website's Drum Shop.
