This is a cracking little drum. The shell is from a beautifully grained piece of rustic oak, with a contrasting central band of wenge. It is machined to a wall thickness of 8mm, and has a traditional french polish finish. The drum is fitted with black hardware.

The drum is delightfully responsive, versatile and crisp to the ear. It has a surprisingly broad tone at lower tunings and a really great, classic oak tone at higher tunings.
