This is a very distinctive drum.
13" x 5.25" oak snare with central segmented bands of padauk and wenge. The main oak sections of the shell are made from short staves with vertically aligned grain. These are held between the central bands of wenge and padauk, and segmented rings top and bottom of bubinga and white beech (into which the bearing edges and snare beds are cut).
