A unique shell design made from 7 segmented rings of a mix of tropical and indigenous hard woods. Each ring is made from segments of 8 different wood - black walnut, ash, brazillian cherry, oak, beech, purpleheart, iroko and wenge. They are selected for their dense, hard physical properties that also make them choice tone woods to produce a shell that is bursting with character, yet with the depth and 13" diameter having enormous versatility.
