This is a 12" version of the classic 5" snare shell, made from super hard, resonant wenge, complemented with 2 thinner bands of purpleheart above and below the central section. This is a very responsive drum, with the option to make use of the bright tones of the shell, or the more controlled but equally powerful central sweet spot.
It is finished with a traditional french polish, S-hoops and DW throw-off and butt.
